Some of the newest varieties of hydrangeas are featured each year at the Hydrangeas Galore Sale at the park in May. The sale continues until every hydrangea finds a new home. A large selection of mopheads, lacecaps, oakleafs as well as sun-loving paniculatas and rebloomers are available. There’s also the chance to see hydrangeas in their full glory by touring the Hydrangeas at Pendleton garden. CSRA Hydrangea Society members and garden volunteers are available to answer questions and provide information sheets about caring for hydrangeas. All of the proceeds from the sale are used to enhance the park.
