9 am until sold out (no early sales)
Pendleton King Park Hydrangea Garden and Franke Pavilion
Some of the newest varieties of hydrangeas will be featured at this year’s Hydrangeas Galore Sale at the Pendleton King Park. The annual sale begins at 9 a.m. May 29 and continues until every hydrangea finds a new home.
A large selection of mopheads, lacecaps, oakleafs as well as sun-loving paniculatas and rebloomers will be available.
There’s also the chance to see hydrangeas in their full glory by touring the Hydrangeas at Pendleton garden.
CSRA Hydrangea Society members and garden volunteers will be available to answer questions and provide information sheets about caring for hydrangeas.
All of the proceeds from the sale will be used for the proposed multi-purpose building at the park which will be used for a variety of garden related activities as well as wedding receptions and other community uses.
The sale will take place at the park’s Franke Pavilion. The park is located ½ mile south of Wrightsboro Road on Troupe Street. The sale and tour are sponsored by the PKP Foundation, the Augusta-Richmond County Recreation Department and the Hydrangea Garden volunteers.
